Topic Proposals Sought for the 20th Chicago Food Justice Summit
Mission-Driven Events Takes Place March 12-14
If you are committed to building a better, fairer and more equitable food system — and willing to present your ideas — Chicago Food Policy Action Council (CFPAC) is seeking proposals for its 20th Annual Chicago Food Justice Summit.
The event will be held March 12 through 14. The first two days of the summit will be online, with the finale at the South Shore Cultural Center. Proposals must be submitted by end of day December 4.

Farmers Rising's Farming in Age of Climate Change Resumes Thursday
New Realities: Farming in the Climate Change Era, is an important six-part presented by Farmers Rising, the farmer education non-profit based in Caledonia, Illinois.
Part 1, on November 7, was a broad overview of the science behind climate change. Part 2, to be presented online this Thursday (November 21), is titled Weather, Wind and Water, and it plunges into the specific and sometimes catastrophic impacts of climate change.

Register Now for January's Everything Local Conference
Registration is open for the annual From Food to Flowers: Everything Local Conference, presented by Illinois Farmers Market Association (ILFMA), Illinois Farm Bureau and Illinois Specialty Growers Association .
The event takes place January 29-31 at Springfield's Bank of Springfield convention center. And if you're going to attend, you can also register for ILFMA's fundraising social.
