The Season Enters The Home Stretch
Your Chicago Region Farmers Market Schedule Gets a Little Shorter
How ‘Bout Them Apples?
Wow, time flies. Hard to believe, but today is the six-month anniversary of Local Food Forum. I’ve been a busy boy, and hopefully have provided the information you all are looking for about the myriad aspects of the Chicago region’s local food community.
I’ll have more to say about this… including what I am planning for the months when I don’t have hundreds of farmers markets to choose from… next week. But I’m all about reminding folks to support their local farmers, and I don’t want to get in the way of the still very long weekly farmers market schedule.
The warm weather has extended the growing season for tomatoes and some of your other favorite summer crops, even as the fall crops are becoming abundant. Get out there and enjoy that bounty.
And remember, Local Food Forum subscriptions make GREAT anniversary presents…
