Star Farm Chicago: A CSA proceeds going to an amazing non-profit cause!
Star Farm Chicago is a non-profit urban farm established in 2016 in the Back of the Yards neighborhood. Sign up for our main season now and get the best local, seasonal fruits and vegetables delivered FREE to your door. Did we say free delivery?!?
All proceeds from our CSA program go to support free community-based family and youth programming in Back of the Yards.
Each CSA is hand-packed day of delivery at our farm. We source the highest quality local, seasonal produce for each week's CSA. Given the seasonal nature of local produce, each CSA content varies however we strive to provide two varieties of greens, 2 varieties of roots, 3 varieties of fruits, and a surprise--more fruit? mushrooms? honey? flowers? We let the season dictate! We look forward to bringing the fresh seasonal produce directly to your door — so even if you don't have time to go to the farmers market, you can still experience the abundance and flavor of local produce while supporting small farmers.
All CSAs are home-delivered Wednesdays between 2pm and 6pm.

Farmers for Climate Action in DC Next Week
Farmers are in the front lines of the potentially catastrophic impacts of global climate change. If you are in the Washington, D.C. area, will be visiting our nation’s capital next week, or want to jump in to show your support, consider joining Farmers for Climate Action: Rally for Resilience to be held March 6 through 8.
According to the Farm Aid organization — which announced the event at its 2022 festival in Raleigh, North Carolina on behalf of National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition — the farm bill being considered this year by Congress “must support farmers in building systems that are resilient to climate change impacts, improve and sustain farmers’ economic bottom line, and support biodiversity. This includes incorporating greenhouse gas emissions reductions and carbon sequestration into all the landscapes of U.S. agriculture.”
Click the button below to learn more, including the schedule of events that includes the rally in Freedom Plaza and a march to the Capitol on March 7 and a lobbying day on March 8.
