Take a Quiz
Most people love berries. Which of the most familiar berries have the shortest growing season?
a) Blackberries
b) Strawberries
c) Raspberries
d) Blueberries
Answer: b) If you love local strawberries, get them while you can. They are normally the first berry to hit the markets in late May, but they are almost always gone by late June.
You should post a what's in season calendar! Those are always soo helpful
A superb resource, sir. One quick note/correction--The Downtown Evanston Farmers market is at 1800 Maple, the intersection of University Place and Maple. I believe the address in your list is Evanston's Civic Center. Our market does indeed appear on your map, however. Thanks for the daily dive into all our area's markets.
