A Local Food Forum Events Calendar, At Last
Our new website provides an awesome platform to promote YOUR Events
Since I launched Local Food Forum on Substack in April 2021, I have wanted to have a calendar of events by and about members of our local food community. Many readers have asked for one, too. But the newsletter format didn’t provide a user-friendly solution.
I am thrilled to announce that the new Local Food Forum website provides the solution, with an Events Calendar — launched this morning — that I think you’ll love, whether you are an events planner or participant.
As you can see from the screenshot above, each listing in the event calendar provides:
The name of the event organizer and the event title
Whether the event is live or online
The date and times
The location (with a link to Google Maps!)
A link to the ticket/registration page
And if you click the “Show More” button, you’ll find an event description.
BE A PART OF IT!
As I always have, I will continue to highlight events on which I stumble in my email, on the web and on social media.
But to make this event calendar the most useful to the community, and yourselves, I NEED YOU TO HELP ME HELP YOU — by sharing your events directly with me.
All I need is the information listed above. And if you have an event page, you can just send me the link and I can take it from there.
There are two best ways to reach me.
Email me directly at bob@localfoodforum.com
Scroll to the bottom of the localfoodforum.com homepage, where you’ll find a contact form… click “Share/Promote Your Event” and “Connect With Bob”… and hit Send.
Let’s make this Events Calendar awesome, together.
